Apollo have just released their Salt n' Pepper fixies to Australia , nice looking bikes if you are in the market...features include a straight bladed fork with sloping crown & lugged frame on the Pepper , Deep Section wheels at priced at 699$ & 999$ . Samples arrive on the shop floor in the week & stock to sell 2 weeks. Sizes 52-54-56-58. A nice touch is the 1970's Apollo headbadge on the headtube .

RRP of Giant's full bike range , some higher end models are a couple of months away but you can certainly pre-order to be the first on the block. As you will note there have been major price drops across the range largely due to a favourable currency plus Giant's massive buying power.

Price Increases: Due to the flat Aussie dollar & rising resources prices all the brands are experiencing mid-season price increases. 13th October 2008 GIANT'S prices go up so if you are in the market for a new 2009 model & it is in the shop or Perth warehouse we can order for you at the lower price, after & on that date we will do our best to cushion the price increase but expect to pay more. The prices have been stable for the last 3 years to my memory from our suppliers so we can't really complain in the current climate.

Terry Allen (67) our racing club secretary (Melville Fremantle) sadly passed away September 2007 . Terry was a good friend & organiser of the summer criterium events here in Perth for over twenty years both at Canning Vale & Kardinya , aswell as various official roles such as State Selector. Terry was still riding his bike in Riccione Italy in June & was planning on watching the Tour de France when he was diagnosed with a terminal illness which sadly claimed him all too early.

I know its been a long time & lots has been happening .....2007 turns into 2008 with the bike product on the floor but we do have some 2007 stuff still going out on special.
